Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Keybinder, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Keybinder. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
Description
Keybinder is a desktop application that allows you to create global keyboard shortcuts to send selected text to third-party AI providers. The application runs locally on your device.
Accounts
You may create an account using Google or GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. One active device session is allowed per account.
Pricing and Payments
- Free tier: 1 global hotkey automation, all AI providers supported.
- Supporter tier: $5 USD one-time payment for unlimited hotkey automations.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. All sales are final — no refunds, as the free tier allows you to evaluate the product before purchasing.
API Keys and Third-Party Services
You are responsible for your own AI provider API keys and any charges incurred through their use. Keybinder is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Redistribute or resell the application
- Use the application for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to circumvent license restrictions
Intellectual Property
Keybinder — including its source code, logo, and documentation — belongs to its creators. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for your own purposes. Any content you create using Keybinder (your automation configurations, prompts, and the AI responses you receive) belongs to you; we claim no rights over it.
Disclaimer
Keybinder is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for the output of third-party AI providers.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keybinder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the application.
Termination
You may stop using Keybinder and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@keybinder.app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms — in particular the Acceptable Use section. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any supporter payment, which is final as described above.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or from your use of Keybinder shall be resolved by the courts competent for the jurisdiction where the operator resides, unless a mandatory consumer-protection rule grants you the right to a different venue.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
